Good experience!
In every two years, there will be "International Youth Dance Festival" held in july. It's a 5-days event. Many different dance groups from different countries will gather in Macau to perform and having workshops. Of course, Macau's dance groups will also participate in this big event for all the dancers. However, not all the groups can join due to the limit of groups. Luckily, our dance school joined for 2 times and everyone enjoyed a lot on both performance and workshops! Unfortunately, we didn't organize any workshop for other countries' groups but I joined the japanese dance workshop with some of my friends. It was so fun and we learned some basic steps of japanese dance. Besides workshops, there's outdoor performance and indoor performance. We always had indoor performance because its hard to dance outdoor wearing ballet pointe shoes and it's not good for the shoes as well. We also have a dinner with all the groups on the first and last day, Macau city tour for other countries and a farewell party on the last day. Even though it was just 5 days of living together in the same place, some of us cried when we had to say goodbye to thrm because we never know if we will meet each other after 2 years or not. In our school's situation, we were so close to the japanese group and on the last day, they told us they will not have a chance to come again, therefore we talked a lot and shared our email address.

Something different!
Instead of spending time at ballet school or having annual performance, we did something different! In the past years, when there's still "Miss Macau" competition in Macau, we were once a guest performer for the show!
Another good experience is that the director of a magazine company came to our ballet school to choose some of the students for ballet shooting of the magazine. Luckily, I was one of them. We had to get changed in only 2 mins after a few shoots with the costume, then we change to another costume and take a few more shoots. I still remember we changed for at least 5 different costume. When we're standing there for pictures, there were so many photographers and cameras. The flash lights were non-stop flashing and every photographer was saying : "look this side please, this side. Right side, left side." Our head and eyes were so busy as well as changing the poses for them. Afterall, it was tired but good experience!

Whats good?
Learning ballet didn't just bring me happiness, elegant, performances, but also a lot of friends and best friend! Me and my best friend had known each other for 15 years and we're still keeping our friendship! There's not anything as important as true friendship in which that one person can accept all our good or bad things!!

Bringing my sexy back.!
My second year's performance started showing our back to the audience as well as when we ended our dance, so here I came up with the idea of this title : showing my sexy back! Lol
It's really funny that all other dances show a lot of the dancers' faces except our dance. At least 40% of our dance we were facing back to the audience and no one understood why the teacher did this until one of my classmate asked him. And the answer of my teacher was : "I just wanted to make the parents looking for their child and being surprised if they could recognize them". After knowing his answer, our class was like :O oh well what a "good" idea! Lol

First ON STAGE performance!
It was my first on stage performance! Not like the first in class performance because this time I really enjoyed the dance even though I was still so shy. It was also my first time to put on make up. Lol! I was just too young for all those eye shadow, blush, specially LIPSTICK. Lipgloss wasn't popular yet back then thats y we only had lipstick. I hated the feeling of that on my lips and my mom told me that I was licking my lips and opening mouth for my whole dance when I should be smiling. Hahahhahah. Another thing that I still remember from that day is that i got mad at my brother because he didn't want to go on stage and give me the flowers and this made me cry. I was really a cry baby. Lol. But guess what?? My brother could never see me crying thats why he ended up saying sorry and gave me the flowers! =)

First diploma!
After a year of learning ballet, it finally came to my first exam! I was nervous but at the same time excited! It was an exam of group of 8 so it wasn't that scary at all. Every year we have different examiner from all over the world. On my first exam, I had an examiner from the royal academy of dancing in united kingdom. She was very friendly to us because we were still at the age of 6. After a month or two we finally got our diploma sent from UK. Since I was in the lowest level in which of those would have exams, there were no grades for us but a pass or no pass. =)

My first time in class performance
I was only 4 years old when i had my first performance. Even though it's in class performance, still many people and parents came to watch our first performance. Each of us are divided into groups and perform what we had learned thoughout the year. For each group, we're given different movements and we had to pretend animals. Lol! I can still remember clearly that i was snake. At first, all the snakes were laying down and when it comes to our turn, we have to shake slowly going up and down to the floor. My turn came, but instead of shaking slowly, i was laying down on the floor and crying. The teacher had stopped the music and came to me but still i didn't want to dance. I was too shy to perform in front of so manu people! After My mom came to me and talked to me, i felt much better and I started to dance my part. It was really an unforgettable memory and each time I look back for that, I felt I've given so much trouble to the teacher and everyone of the class.
